Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this:

To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,
And to keep himself unspotted from the world.

"It is better to give than to receive"

'Tis certainly true. Now that I am in my thirties, I have learned enough to have something to give to other people - and I find it's an ecstasy to have those kinds of friendships. Better, it is than being on the receiving end of such mentoring.

I miss you. Three days every week I saw you, in the same seat, always pleasant... and always beautiful. I never got to know you like I wanted to, and I never told you how much I loved your trendy, chic outfits, and your cute hairstyles. I always wanted to ask you how you did your hair. Even more so, I wanted to know how you did everything... and how you did everything with a smile on your face. I miss seeing you there everyday. You taught me so much even though we hardly ever spent time together. I love you and I will never forget you.

"This is not goodbye.. this is goodnight.. I will see you in the morning."

Dr. Conn spoke of you today to all of us in chapel. It really moved me. Im a new tranfer studen and I had never met you before you passed away but the entire student body now knows you and your caring nature.

I must say that even in death, you continue to inspire the living through your words.

I look foward to meeting you in heaven.
