No matter how many times it happens, I am never used to people knowing my name and multiple things about my life when I don't recall even seeing them before. "Oh, you're Odessa, aren't you? And you. . .(etc, etc,.)" I am left guilty as charged, with no clue who the person is.

Is this what it's like to be a celebrity?

Okay, or not.

I've wondered about that.

I've decided to keep my blogging life totally seperate from my other circles of friends.

I think one has more freedom to say things and talk on a deeper level, if one doesn't have to worry about what people will think who actually know you.

I'm certainly going to use a pseudonym when I put my writings in print someday.

One of my sisters has had her share of fame in her real life, and I see that she has isolated herself in a way that I don't want to, in the future. I think a writer has to be engaged with the world around her or him.
